hello! we’re kate and kerith – two ladies from the midwest who love fabric and yarn and all the usual things ladies like.
we started midwest needles as a little shop to share our vintage fabric stash but it quickly developed into a shop of our handmade goods as well. we chose the name midwest needles because we felt it encompassed the love we have for knitting, crocheting, and sewing while also displaying our pride in being from the midwest.
we still have that vintage stash but now are crafting whatever our hearts desire! we adore good design and quality craftsmanship. we don’t want to be a shop filled with the usual hats, scarves, and mittens. we want to provide fresh takes on traditional items and help you find something a little surprising as well.
all our designs are created by us and made by our own hands. check back often as we are always coming up with new creations!
